Glogster

Hello again! For this week our assignment was to create an online poster about what 21st century communication is for us, by using Glogster. We had to work in pairs and I worked with my friend Merve Kul.

Creating a glog wasn't so difficult. It was enjoyable to find pictures and videos. Here's our glog. I hope you like it.

Digital Story

Hi everyone! For this week, my task was preparing a digital story. I preferred to tell you what it means to be good friends for me and also the story of me and my friend's meeting.

 

I prepared a video which includes our photos. I added a song named "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" and I told our story.

 

I enjoyed the project because it made me think about our childhood and realize what a good friendship I have :) Also it helped me to see my pronunciation mistakes and correct them as much as possible. I'd love to use it with my future students.

 

 

 

Creating a Comic Strip

For this week, we had three options to choose as a project. I decided to create a comic strip and worked with Merve. For our assignment, we had to choose an idiom of English and explain it with characters in our comic strip, so first of all we started to search for an idiom. This was really enjoyable. We learnt so many idioms and laughed a lot. Then it was time to create our characters and make them talk. As we were writing a dialogue for them, we understood the meaning of the idiom even more clearly.
I think this project was the funniest! I will definitely use it with my future students. İt is a funny way to learn.
